How Your Parish Can Help St. Leo's

Partnering with St. Leo the Great helps us directly serve local families, build outreach programs, and support our neighborhood. Here are the main ways your parish community can get involved:

1. Financial Support & Tithing

• Parish Tithing: Commit a portion of your Sunday collection to St. Leo Church (weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually).

• Special Collections: Host a dedicated collection during Advent, Lent, Christmas, Easter, or a designated "Fifth Sunday."

2. Organize a Collection Drive

Gather essential supplies with your parish or school group:

• ✏️ School & Office Supplies: Notebooks, backpacks, paper, and computer equipment.

• Pantry & Personal Items: Food staples, clothing, toiletries, and paper goods.

• Farm Equipment: Trowels, hoses, rakes, and tools for our community farm.

3. Volunteer Opportunities

We are always looking for individuals and groups to lend a hand with:

• Parish Outreach: Food pantry assistance, teaching English as a Second Language (ESL). 

• Helping in the Garden

• Volunteering for special events , especially around holidays: St Leo is always in need of volunteers for our school supply drive, coat drive, holiday toy drives, and other events we may hold through out the year.
